Up Above Learning Partnership Ltd. is the official UNSW Representative for North America region (Canada and USA).
As UNSW North America Representative, Up Above Learning Partnership Ltd MUST advise and give to prospective students, before they complete an application, information about:
1. UNSW and its facilities, equipment and learning resources;
2. the UNSW degree Programs;
3. the UNSW degree Program fees and refund conditions;
4. living in Australia and the local environment of the relevant campus, including information about campus location and costs of living;
5. the minimum level of English language ability, educational qualifications and work experience required for acceptance into a UNSW degree Program;
6. student visa application procedures and visa conditions, which must be satisfied by the student including English language proficiency levels.
7. We will waive the application fee, if you are a competitive prospective applicant
Up Above Learning Partnership Ltd. DOES NOT:
1. charge any fee to a prospective student for their application or acceptance of an offer.
2. receive or bank any fees and charges payable to the University by a prospective student or deduct any amount from such fees and charges;
3. give inaccurate information to a prospective student about the fees and charges payable to the University.
About Yew Kong Tham – UNSW North America Representative
Prior to relocating to Canada and establishing Up Above Learning Partnership, Yew Kong spent 8 years at UNSW Sydney where he was Senior International Student Adviser with UNSW International.
Yew Kong received an MSW from UNSW in 2004 and a BSW from University of South Australia in 1992.
With more than 8 years experience of working at UNSW and living in Sydney, Yew Kong is committed to provide timely and professional advice and assistance to prospective students, from initial enquiry and application processing through to pre-departure and support on arrival/transition stage.
